I Never Saw Another Butterfly_

I did this project for the play done by the Lee's Summit Wesh High School Rep Theatre class production, I Never Saw Another Butterfly. It was WONDERFUL. I would go see it a million times over. I will warn you, you probably don't want to go see it if you don't like sad things.

Breakdown-
-Roma/Romani/Sinti girl to represent the Pořajmos
-Moon symbol was commonly used on decorative Romani coins
-Fire representing the fires in the concentration camps
-Gold Romani coins to represent loss of possessions in the camps

Done in black sharpie and cool gray markers on a 24x24in illustration board.
